Included with all Premium invitations is an envelope that will open and reveal your invitation to guests. When you are previewing your card, the envelope that you will see will say "Guest's Name", but when guests see it, they will see their names as you have entered them. When adding your guests to the guest list on the Add Guests page, you can edit their names by clicking the pencil icon beside their entry (see image below).
There are a few ways you may address your guests on the envelope.
When adding guests on the Add Guests page, you may use an "&" in between names, such as Adam & Michelle, firstname.lastname@example.org. "And" is also interchangeable.
Secondly, you may input just the first name, such as Rachel, email@example.com.
Thirdly, you may put Mr. and Mrs., or Mr. & Mrs. McKinley, firstname.lastname@example.org for a more formal appearance.
Please note, special characters such as quotations, plus signs, percentages or the like, cannot be used in email addresses or names, as they will prevent the guest from being added to the guest list.
If you want to change your guest names after you have sent the invitation, you may follow these steps:
- Log in to your Evite account.
- Click on your name/photo in the top right corner.
- Select My Events.
- Locate your event on the dashboard.
- Click on Manage Event.
- Select the pencil icon on the guest list next to your desired guest, to edit their name.
