# Upload Your Own Design

**Uploading your own design**

**Can I use my own custom design instead of an Evite template?**\
Yes. Evite offers Upload Your Own Design templates so you can bring a design you've already created. A few things to know before you start:

* Accepted file types are JPG and PNG only — PDFs and Word documents can't be uploaded.
* Any text you want on the Invitation needs to be baked into your image file. You won't be able to add text boxes on top of an uploaded design in Evite.
* Upload Your Own Design templates are Premium — there's a charge to send. View pricing [here](https://support.evite.com/support/solutions/articles/72000576133-invitation-pricing).

**How do I upload my design and send the Invitation?**

1. Go to [evite.com](http://www.evite.com) and log in.
2. Select the **Upload Your Own** category, or go directly [here](https://www.evite.com/upload-your-own/?cat=uyo).
3. Choose your preferred template orientation.
4. Click the template to open your files and select your image.
5. Apply any filters or adjust size and orientation as needed.
6. Choose your envelope, background, and liner options from the left side menu.
7. Enter your event details and select any additional features.
8. Choose your gifting preferences.
9. Review your draft, then add your guest list.
10. Select your package and purchase to send.

**My design is an unusual shape or size. Can I still upload it?**\
Yes — Evite also offers a **Design Your Own** any-size/shape template for designs that don't fit standard dimensions. Look for it in the template gallery, click the upload box, and choose your image and preferred filters.
