# Cancel Event

**To cancel an event using the Android app,** please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Evite account using the app. 
2. Tap on **My Events** at the bottom of the screen. 
3. Tap on your invitation to view it. 
4. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner. 
5. Select **Cancel Event.** 
6. Click on **Yes, Cancel** to cancel the invitation. 
7. If you would like to send your guests a message about the cancellation, select **Yes, notify guests**. If you do not want to notify your guests, select **No, thanks**. 
8. If you selected to notify your guests, you will be taken to the **Messages** feature, where you can enter your cancellation message and choose who to send the message to.
