# Sample Text Still Showing

**Sample text is still showing on my Invitation**

**Why does my Invitation still show the placeholder text instead of my event details?**\
The text boxes on the design need to be edited directly — the event details you fill in during the second step of setup don't automatically populate onto the design. If you skipped that step, the sample text stays until you replace it manually.

**Can I fix it after I've already sent the Invitation?**\
Yes. You can edit the design text any time before your event date.

1. Log in to your Evite account.
2. Click your initials or photo in the top right corner.
3. Select **My Invitations** and find your event.
4. Click the three dot menu and select **Edit Details.**
5. Click **Edit Design** on the invitation image**.**
6. Click on any text box with sample text, replace it with your event details, and save when you're done.
