# Block Event Host

**You can block an event host from using Evite to contact you by following the steps below:**\

**Block by Email:**

1. Open the original invitation email that you received.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the email.
3. Click on **Block this Host**.
4. You will be navigated to the Evite site, where you will confirm by clicking on **Block**.<br>

**Block by Text:**\

You can select the **Report Junk** option when you receive an invitation text to block all future Evite texts.

Reach out to Evite Support at <support@evite.com> and request to block the specific host by text. Please include your cell number so we can view the host information to block them for you.
