What is the Evite Photo Sharing feature?

Evite’s Photo Sharing feature allows hosts and guests to upload and view event photos directly on the invitation page. This feature is available for Freemium, Premium, and Pro invitations.

How Can I Enable Photo Sharing for My Event?

For Hosts:

• The Photo Sharing toggle is available in the invitation creation process.

  • Step 2: Located in the Invitation Add-ons section.

  • Step 4: Located in the Add easy planning tools section.

  • Edit Flow: Located in the Add easy planning tools section.

• The feature is turned on by default for Premium, and Pro invitations.

• If you select a Free template, you will need to upgrade to Premium in order to turn photo sharing on.

Where Can I See Uploaded Photos?

Invitation Page:

• If the host enabled photo sharing, photos can be uploaded and viewed in the Photos section of the Invitation Page, under Event Details and above Who’s Coming.

• The three most recently uploaded photos will be visible on the invitation page.

• Clicking View all will open the full photo gallery, where all event photos are displayed.

Who can view and upload photos?

• Anyone who has the link to the invitation can view photos.

• .

• In order to upload photos, the user must be logged in and on the guest list, or they must have accessed the invitation page from an email or SMS sent by Evite.

When can I upload photos?

• Guest and hosts can upload photos before, during, and after the event.

• Guests must RSVP if they want to view/upload photos before the event.

• After the event, the host and guests will be prompted via email to upload their photos.

How Do I Upload Photos?

Guests & Hosts Can Upload From:

• From the Invitation Page or the photo feed view, click “Add photos” or “+” button

• Your computer or phone’s native file picker will open

• • You can select multiple photos at once

  • Once you’re done, photos will start uploading

  • Once all the photos have finished uploading, click “Post photos”. Photos will now be visible on the invitation page.

  • If you change your mind, you can click “Cancel” the prevent the photos from being uploaded.

What kinds of files are accepted?

• Most common image files are accepted

• The maximum file size is 20MB.

Who Can Delete Photos?

• Hosts & Co-Hosts: Can delete any uploaded photo.

• Guests: Can only delete photos that they uploaded.

How to Delete:

• Click on the photo.

• Select the trash can icon on the top right

• Confirm deletion in the pop-up modal.

What if I see a photo I don’t like?

• If you do not have permission to delete a photo, you can contact the host and ask them to remove it.

• Evite’s Terms & Conditions apply to all uploads.

• Guests or hosts can contact support for removal requests.

• Evite may intervene if multiple complaints are received about a photo or event.

Can Hosts Turn Photo Sharing On and Off?

• Yes, hosts can enable or disable Photo Sharing before the event has occurred using the “Edit invitation” button on the event overview page.

• After the event, hosts can contact support to disable photo sharing.
