# Map on Invitation

A link to the Google Maps location for your event will automatically be included with your invitation if a location address is added in the event details. The map is linked by Google and is pulled from the location name and address you enter into your event details.

When guests view your invitation, they will see a View Map link under the event location in the event detail fields.

**Please note:** Our maps are taken from Google Maps and should be input just the same as if you were searching on Google Maps. Any extra information about your address should be put in the message area to your guests, as the extra information will not allow the address to be placed correctly on the map. \
\
If you see the map shown incorrectly, you will need to either contact Google to have the map corrected or reach out to <support@evite.com> to have the map disabled on your invitation.
