# Change Host Name on Invitation

By default, your host name will be the name that is entered in your account profile.&#x20;

If you need the name to be updated, please make sure you edit your account profile name prior to creating your invitation draft by following these steps:

1. Log into your Evite account.
2. Click on your initials in the top right corner.
3. Go to **Account Settings**.
4. Select **Profile**.
5. Click **Edit My Profile**.
6. Make your edits to your name and select **Save**.

When creating or editing your invitation, you can feel free to enter an alternate name in the Hosted By field:

Please follow these steps to edit the hostname while creating your invitation:

1. Go to your **Manage Event** page.
2. Select **Edit Invitation**.
3. Scroll down.
4. Edit the name in the **Hosted By** field.
5. Click **Done** to save your changes.

Note: If you entered the name onto the invitation design, you will need to click on the design text box where the name is and make your changes there as well.<br>

Please note: The text entered into the **Hosted By** field is what guests will see.&#x20;

You may also edit your host name on the guest list of your invitation by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Evite account.
2. Click on your name/photo in the top right corner.
3. Select My Events.
4. Locate your event on the dashboard.
5. Click on **Manage Event** to the right of your event.
6. Click the pencil icon beside your hostname to edit the host name on the guest list.&#x20;
7. Click **Save.**
