# Edit Invitation
**Would you like to edit the details/text on your invitation template?** To edit the details/text on your invitation template, please follow these steps:
1\. Log in to your Evite account.
2\. Click on your name/photo in the top right corner.
3\. Select **My Invitations.**
4\. Locate your event on the dashboard and click the three dot menu.
5\. Click on **Edit Details**.
6\. You can edit the event details on the right side of the page, and click on **Edit Design** to be taken to text editor page to edit the text that appears on the template itself.
7\. Save your changes when you're finished.
Scroll down the right side to make any changes to the event details, host note, gifting, and additional features.
Note:
* You will need to make your updates in both areas for your changes to reflect correctly for your guests.
* You can make changes to your event details any time leading up to the event date.
