# Notification Settings
You have the ability to receive notifications for the event, and you can edit these settings from the Evite app. You can follow the steps below to select your notification settings from the iOS app:
**Host Settings:**
1. Log in to your Evite account using the app.
2. Tap on **My Events**.
3. Locate your invitation on the dashboard.
4. Tap on your invitation to view it.
5. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
6. Select **Edit Settings**.
7. Select your preferred event settings.
**Guest Settings:**
1. When RSVPing, you can edit your notification settings under the **Edit notification settings** tab.
*Or*
1. Log in to your Evite account using the app.
2. Tap on **My Events**.
3. Tap on the invitation to view it.
4. Scroll down and select **Settings**.
5. Choose your notification preferences.
6. Tap on **Save** to save your changes.
**Note:**
* These settings will only apply to event activity. This does not affect host messages or reminders.
* Texted guests will receive all notifications to their email after RSVPing.
