# Cancel Invitation

You can cancel your invitation at any time before your event date. To cancel, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Evite account.
2. Click on your initials/photo in the top right corner.
3. Select **My Invitations**.
4. Locate your upcoming event you wish to cancel.
5. Click on the three dots to bring up the menu.
6. Select **Cancel Event**.
7. Click on the confirmation.
8. You will see the option to message your guests, or select **Skip** if you do not want to include a message.
9. If you send a message, select **Send**.\ <br>

If you had a change of plans and want to reinstate your invitation, you can do so at any time before the event date. To reinstate your invitation, you will want to follow steps 1-4 above, type in the title of your invitation into the search bar, and select the **Reinstate Event** option.
