Create Invitation - Free or Premium

Evite offers an assortment of beautiful designs that can work for any event.

All of our invitations are labeled as Free or Premium in the gallery. Those labeled as Premium will have a charge, and those labeled as Free will not have a cost unless an upgrade option is selected.

You can follow these steps to create and send your Evite invitation:

  1. Log into your Evite account.

  2. Select a design from one of our categories or use the keyword search option to search for your preferred design or theme.

  3. Click on the invitation you’d like to send to your guests.

    Note: Premium designs are labeled as Premium with the pink diamond icon. 

  4. Click on the text to bring up the editing tools and make customizations.

  5. Select any of the options at the bottom to select your preferences:

    1. Card Design: Edit the event details and customize the font, font size, font color, and line spacing.

    2. Envelope & Liner: Select your preferred envelope color and liner design.

    3. Stamp: Here you can choose your envelope stamp design, as well as add animated stickers to the envelope.

    4. Background: Select your background color or texture, which will display behind the envelope and invitation.

      Note: Envelopes, Liners, Stamps, and Backgrounds are all Premium options. If you use a free invitation and opt into these customizations you will be upgraded to a Premium event and will need to pay to send your invitation.

  6. Click on the Next: Event Details button in the low right corner.

  7. Fill in the event details on the right side of the page.

  8. Select the Next: Gifting button in the low right corner.

  9. Choose your preferred gifting options.

  10. Select the Next: Preview button in the low right corner.

  11. Scroll down to select any edit options if you need to make changes.

  12. Select the Guest Options button to select your reply headers and guest list settings.

  13. Select the Next: Add Guests button in the low right corner.

  14. Use the Import from Google option to import your Gmail contacts or Upload File to upload your Excel spreadsheet. You can manually type in your contact information or scroll down to choose from your Evite address book.

  15. Select the Next: Review & Send button in the low right corner.

  16. You will see the option to make any final edits to your design or event details as well as preview the invitation.

  17. Select the Next: Send Invitation button in the low right corner.

  18. You will see the option to make any final edits to your design or event details as well as preview the invitation. 

  19. For Premium, select the pricing package that fits your guest list size. You can view more information on our pricing here:

  20. Enter your payment information.

  21. For Premium, select Purchase & Send in the low right corner when you’re ready to send your invitation.

  22. When sent, you will be taken to the confirmation page.
